Where do I find my HIN?
Your HIN is usually a 12-character number/letter code. Enter it exactly as shown on your paperwork or existing tag.
1. Check your paperwork

Look on your title or registration. This is usually the easiest and most accurate source.

2. Check the rear of the hull

Most personal watercraft have the outside HIN plate on the rear/transom area of the hull.

3. Check the inside of the hull

Almost all models also have an inside tag near the engine, Yamahas and SeaDoo have them behind the motor on the "firewall". Kawasaki has it located underneath the battery tray.

4. Match the full code

Use the full HIN including prefixes like ZZN, YDV, YAMA, KAW, or YAMH. Be sure to check if the HIN# has US- or CA- at the start. This is only present on the physical tag.

I do not recommend using colored tags as flashy isn't always good on identification numbers. This comes with Two pieces as skis have one on the outside and one on the inside!
These are best glued down with a clear epoxy. These can be riveted down. We offer black aluminum rivets that are for thick materials

If you select "I want rivets included" You will get 6pcs of long neck rivets that are black.
For Kawasaki Tags they will be silver larger rivets

Some Tags have US- or CA- at the start. This only applies 06+ Sea-Doo, and 01+ Yamahas. Please be sure to select the correct one!

SeaDoo CA- Tags : Almost all CA- tags begin with YDV as when BRP transitioned over to Canada they had to get a new MIC (Manufacturers Identification Code) 

BRP USA uses ZZN (Smaller seadoo tag with NO CA-) 1989 - 2006
BRP Canada uses YDV (Longer SeaDoo tag WITH CA-) 2006 - CURRENT
